Faux Finish Frames
Husband wife team, Daniel and Ingela, have been working together since 1986 when they both were marble sculptors in Italy. Ingela introduced Daniel to the faux finishes of her native Scandinavia and the two began creating beautiful and unique hand painted and lacquered wood pieces. Their process includes an emulsion, usually of buttermilk and pigment, which is applied with metal and rubber combs, many headed brushes, rags, sponges, stippling brushes and, of course, the artists' hands.
By Daniel & Ingela
Slight variations may occure in the color and pattern. Daniel and Ingela's pieces are easy to maintain, simply wipe the surface with a cloth dampened with a cleaning polish or mild detergent. Avoid the use of ammonia-based products or silicone oils as they may casue damage if used over a long period of time.
All frames can stand vertically or horizontally.
